Conditions of Use

Van Slooten is made in our factory in the Netherlands. The sugar and glucose fructose syrup in our products are coming from the Netherlands. The molasses and salmiak salt in our products are coming from countries within Europe. The licorice root extract and the licorice root powder are coming from countries both within and outside Europe.

We do our best to reduce our environmental footprint. Our packaging is fully recyclable, it differs per country how to dispose of the materials, check the recycle page for the specified rules.

The composition of the mix is not always equal. Sometimes there will be less or more (or sometimes none at all) of certain varieties of sweets in a package. Prior to packaging, the products are placed into a vibrating tray. This is where the different products are placed together in the prescribed proportions. The vibrating tray mixes the different flavors together. We don't have the technology to get the distribution proportions exactly right, this is why it can happen that the mixing is not carried out sufficiently.
